Dr. Modrow is dedicated to finding and funding the best ovarian cancer research as Program Manager for the DOD The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) and encourages the participation of ovarian cancer survivors in the research process. Under her leadership, she has managed over $200 million in Congressional appropriations specifically for extramural ovarian cancer research resulting in over 250 research awards. She has also welcomed over 100 ovarian cancer survivors who have participated in establishing the OCRP's research priorities, research funding opportunities, and funding recommendations.
Karen Wylie, PhD
Science Officer for the Department of Defense (DOD) Ovarian Cancer Research Program (OCRP)
Dr. Wylie is responsible for primary support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Program (OCRP) and management of awards and awardees. Her contributions to the development of early career investigators is critical to the success of the Ovarian Cancer Academy.
